The style of photography that I took is Fashion Photography. The photographer that inspired me is Scott Schuman. His photography style shows HD effect, amazing quality. His photographs showed amazing aperture blurring the background and focusing only its subject which is the person.

If you were to become a fashion photographer, You would need to learn styles of photography in certain school like Art Institute, Emily Carr, Visual College of Art and Design and more. If you were to become a fashion photography, your annual income can reach up to $59,000. Equipment that is required are a DSLR camera, different kind of lenses, and lightings.

There are types of fashion photography that you may have seen in magazines, newspaper, runways, television etc. Fashion photography might just emphasize the models clothing with a neutral background such as white or grey that goes with the attire that they are wearing. Another Fashion photography style is still focus on the models clothing but including hair and the environment. The style of clothing goes along with the environment or interacting with lifestyle. The model may not be posing as much as there hair and make up. The images taken from this photography style can be a story of what you wear throughout the day to night time. The last photography style is mostly use with tall and have a runway figure, there faces have a unique bone structure and they have to be at least 5’10 and up. The style of clothing that is introduced may never been worn or just a dream/ fantasy clothing that people wont be using on there daily life style. The models figure might be exaggerated and there facial expressions can be calm or rather mad. The hair, make up, clothing, model and equipment or objects are placed on specific areas to make a powerful image.

 

Aaron Siskind photography

I chose this 3 photos as my top most favourite by Aaron Siskind because of the way the photos are captured. When I saw this photos the light, the angle and the clarity of the images are amazing and well taken. Each photos clearly has its meaning but this depends on each individuals. What I noticed is how the photos are in monochromatic which makes the photographs more emotional and meaningful

Good composition.

The photo has balanced lighting. the camera focuses on the bride and the background which makes the photo a good quality photography. The texture, saturation and contrast are blended well together.

 

Bad composition

The photo is an example of a bad composition because of the angle and how the person is placed in the wrong place. If the photographer took it on a better angle, you would be able to appreciate the photo that was taken.
